Imagine reversing the train into the siding, stopping by the Goods Shed so that produce can be loaded and unloaded. Then you are ready to go again. Imagine as you turn the controller the train starts to move, gradually getting faster as you allow more power through; over the points and you are heading for the station. The signal is down so you must stop by the platform, allowing for your passengers to get on. The signal is raised and you are off again. Imagine all this, plus the Hornby TrakMat.
