1999 | Great Western Trains was one of the first of the new privatised rail operators to commence service, in February 1996 on routes out of Paddington and Waterloo to the West Country and South Wales. HSTs like this one provide GWTs daytime services. Coaches are Hornbys new scale length Mk.3s with running numbers exclusive to this pack. Coaches with other numbers will be available to extend your train. The presentation of the locomotive and dummy power car is also special to the pack, including wheels blackened to match the new finish on coach wheels. Model features working headlights that operate in the direction of travel. Note that this train is only suitable to run on second radius curved track or greater. |
