YEAR INFORMATION
2000 Designed by William Stroudley, the Terriers were built between 1872 and 1880. No.70, later to become 32670 in B.R. days, was originally called ‘Poplar’ and first went to traffic in December 1872. When obtained by BR, No.32670 along with the other remaining Terriers, were classified as OP (Other Passenger) and by the time the locomotive was withdrawn it had travelled more than 1,000,000 miles. Type 7 motor.
