YEAR INFORMATION
1997 The Class 92 was purpose-designed to haul mixed freight through the Channel Tunnel (1995 onwards) with four power systems to operate on both sides of the water. New running numbers distinguish this model from previous Hornby versions. The model features many separately fitted components, most notably the simulated pantographs and working lights that operate in the direction of travel. The Class 92 is powered by a ringfield motor.
