1998 New name and number for the locomotive that set a new British passenger train record of 154mph on 2 June 1995. The Class 91 has been in operation since 1989, and still serves in the Intercity livery hauling what are now GNER services from London to Scotland. Hornby model has a working pantograph to operate with Hornbys overhead power supply system. You can also power it from the track in the coventional fashion. Ringfield motor.
