2001 | Originally outshopped with a streamlined casing, 'Duchess of Rutland' was rebuilt in 1947 and, although reliveried in several colour schemes through its working life this particular Duchess, when withdrawn, was resplendent in BR red. The Hornby example shows the 'Duchess of Rutland' in the earlier BR green of 1955. The distinctive lines of the Duchess are further enhanced by the model's Super Detail features. The model incorporates a five pole motor housed in the loco body. |
