2001 | A unique locomotive for the Virgin fleet, in a unique colour. No 86245 was named 'Caledonian' at Glasgow Central on 15 February 1998, marking the 150th anniversary of the completion of the through link to London from Scotland. In commemoration of this the locomotive was given a traditional Caledonian blue livery with red stripes in place of the more familiar Virgin red. The model is powered by a ringfield motor. |
