| 2002 | There were five different tender types used across the range of the 9F's. This particular 9F, presented in the more characteristic ‘weathered colouring' associated with this Class, was partnered with a BRIF tender which had a water capacity of 5.625 gallons and carried seven tons of coal. A ringfield motor located in the tender with pickups off eight of the ten drive wheels to ensure smooth running at slow speeds. |
