YEAR INFORMATION
2002 Removed from BR traffic in 1967 'Blackmoor Vale' was purchased by the Bulleid Society. Having operated for a decade following restoration in 1976, the locomotive was again returned to steam, being recommissioned on 19 August 2000 after a comprehensive overhaul. The new Hornby model is powered by a 5 pole motor housed in the locomotive which allows for superb control at low speeds. The extensive detailing includes sprung buffers, fine scale valve gear, separately fitted handrails and glazed cab, plus a variety of additional features.
