YEAR INFORMATION
2002 21 C155 left the Brighton Works in February 1947 destined to carry the name 'Fighter Pilot'. In the summer of 1949 the running number was changed to 34055, which it retained until being withdrawn in June 1963. This splendid Hornby model shows "Fighter Pilot' as it was straight from the works, resplendent in Malachite green and fitted with an 8’6" tender, just as O.S.V. Bulleid intended. A 5 pole motor situated in the locomotive powers the model.
