1994 | Intended for the difficult London Hastings route where the clearances would not allow larger engines, the Schools were so successful that they were used on most other Southern services. The model has smoke deflectors and a coppered steam pipe and is tender powered by a Type 6 ringfield motor. Suitable for coaches R.162, R.163 and R.174. |
