1995 | This Battle Of Britain Class locomotive entered service in January 1947 and was officially withdrawn in September 1964. However there are records indicating that this locomotive continued to be worked in traffic after this date. The Hornby model now has improved bodywork with particular attention being paid to the loco body sides and the tender. The valve gear has also been upgraded as well as the motor which is now a Type 7. |
1996 | Entering traffic in 1947, this locomotive continued working until the mid 1960s. The heavily detailed model has a Type 7 motor located in the locomotives body which provides considerable power to the drive wheels. |
1997 | Finely detailed representation of a locomotive that entered service in 1947 and continued working up to the mid sixties. The models livery places it in the period 1956-1967. Ample power is delivered by the Type 7 motor located in the locomotives body. |
