| 1996 | The Class 92s are now becoming a familiar sight on both sides of the Channel Tunnel. Although mainly used for hauling freight some have been assigned to an independent operator, European Passenger Services, who are based at Waterloo Station. The Class 92 is well suited for this type of work as it is fitted with electric pick-up equipment that allows it to operate from four different power systems. Superbly decorated and detailed, the model is powered by a ringfield motor. |
