1996 | Originally built in the late 1950s many of this class had been refurbished by the end of the 70s. Their duties were centred around suburban and cross country work with their main operating area being Yorkshire and parts of Lancashire. The superb Hornby model carries a tremendous amount of detail on the chassis and bodies. The windows are flush fitted and a careful examination will reveal that some of them have been left open! A ringfield motor powers the Motor Brake Composite vehicle which in common with the other unit has seating detail. The driving ends are not fitted with couplings as the trains rarely ran in more than three car sets, but couplings are provided. |
1997 | Hornbys finely detailed Class 110 set is presented here in a livery that reflects its main operating area (Yorkshire and parts of Lancashire) in the late seventies period. Model carries an exceptional amount of detail, on the body and in the interiors. Powere comes from a ringfield motor in the Motor Brake Composite. Destination labels are supplied and you have couplings to fit at the leading ends if you require them. |
