| 1995 | During the late 1950s the West Coast main line saw the introduction of a new Caledonian express passenger service. It was not what is termed a heavyweight train but it did need the power of the Duchesses. Similarly, the splendid model of the Duchess locomotive City of Chester in this set has no difficulty in hauling the three coaches around the large oval of track. |
