2000 | Earlier versions of the Class 25s were built with connecting doors at each end to facilitate multiple working. Later introductions did not have this feature allowing larger centre windows to be fitted. Originally named Type 2s there were some 327 in the class which were built for goods and passenger working during the period 1961-1978. Powered by a ringfield motor, the model benefits in appearance with the application of precision printing and blackened wheels. |
