YEAR INFORMATION
2005 The first GNER Mallard train was launched by Her Majesty the Queen at Kings Cross Station, London on 9 October 2003. The GNER Mallard Mk.4 coaches, of which there are 302, underwent a £30 million refurbishment programme with each coach being totally rebuilt and refitted with new interiors to provide enhanced levels of comfort throughout the train. The Hornby GNER Mallard Train pack includes coaching stock incorporating the latest external livery.
