The Class 29 was a troublesome and relatively short-lived locomotive, which of course makes it doubly interesting to the model collector. Two-tone green livery makes this locomotive one of the 20 Class 29s that were rebuilt with a more powerful engine in 1963 and served exclusively in the Scottish Region until withdrawal of the Class in 1971.
