Year Information: During the Second World War 12 Castle Class locomotives were renamed after Allied aircraft that were taking part in the War. 'Blenheim' was formerly Cranbrook Castle but received its new name in January 1941. The Hornby model carries the later BR totem on the Collet tender and is fitted with a double chimney that places the model in the very early 60’s period. A ringfield motor located in the locomotive powers the model.
