1993 | The class was designed by Sir Henry Fowler and introduced in 1927. The first few locos were given the LMS crimson lake livery as depicted on the model. Powered by Type 7 motor in SSPP chassis. Suitable coaches are R.468, R.474 and R.475. |
1994 | Built for local passenger services the 4P Class commonly ran at 80 mph and were still economical to operate. The LMS at one time had 645 2-6-4 tank engines for their vast suburban requirements. The model has a Type 7 motor in the SSPP chassis and is a powerful hauler.
