YEAR INFORMATION
2001 Although the black livery which was applied to this loco by the LNER and later BR, reflected the workmanlike character of the locomotive, it was the colour scheme of the GNR which was the most distinctive, as superbly illustrated by this new Hornby model. The paint has been delicately applied while the printing is of an extremely high level of excellence. Powered by a 5 pole motor.
