Year Information: The Eurostar Class 373 has arrived and with it ideas of time and distance change as well as making barriers disappear. Travelling internationally between London - Paris and London - Brussels will be fast, direct and relaxing.
The co-operation between the British, French and Belgian railways has inspired Hornby and the famous French model railway company, Joef, to come together in a unique partnership in model railway history. To celebrate the launch of the Eurostar train and to symbolise the linking of the two great countries, Hornby are distributing, in Great Britain, the Joef HO model of the Eurostar train both as a set and a train pack. The HO (3.5mm to 1 foot) model is fitted with dummy pantographs and non operating lights and because of the uniqueness of the couplings, must be run as a complete unit. Due to the length of the coaches and bogies the Eurostar is not suitable for use on track with a radius of less than 17 1/4 inches, 43.8cm.
