Year Information: One of the once proud King Class locomotives of the GWR, King Charles I is depicted in this set wearing the British Railways livery of the early 1950s, hauling a rake of BR Mk.1 coaches and showing the heritage of the GWR in their chocolate and cream livery. Trains like this were used on the Premier named services of the BR Western Region.
The oval of track included is an ideal starting point for a model railway and using the Hornby TrakMat as a guide, plus the addition of extra track, can soon develop this set into a very impressive layout.
