Year Information: The 4F was one of the most numerous classes in the days of LMS, with 772 built in total. They were vacuum fitted to haul passenger trains but were mainly used for goods traffic. The model carries the LMS lettering and is produced in the unglamorous black livery of the period. The ringfield motor is situated in the tender which is connected to the locomotive by a drawbar with all wheels and con rods chemically treated to give a blackened finish.
