Year Information: No.101 was built in 1902 on the basis of an earlier Holden design. The boiler was extended in 1903 and was modified further in 1905. The Hornby model shows the locomotive as it operated between 1905 and 1911 and has a fully detailed cab interior. As an experimental locomotive No.101 performed a variety of duties, including local passenger, shunting and freight.
