1977 Automatic uncoupling device on the rear coupling. Fitted with Magnadhesion.
1978 This standard BR diesel shunting class can be seen all over the country. A useful patented device is fitted to the Hornby model to enable uncoupling anywhere on the layout. Stop the train suddenly to hinge the coupling hook away from the coupling bar, then ease the loco gently forward and it uncouples from the train automatically. The model also has finer scale wheels and Magnadhesion.
1979 Model fitted with unique device to enable uncoupling to take place anywhere on the layout.
