Year Information: Evening Star, the last steam loco to be built by BR was fully finished in lined green livery to mark the event. The remaining 250 locomotives of the class were black (and generally dirty!). The finely detailed Hornby model has a fully fitted cab, brake gear and scale wheels with the central driver unflanged in accord with prototype practice. Power is provided by a tender mounted Ringfield Silver Seal motor. Evening Star can be seen at York National Railway Museum.
